So, Stacy and I went out for a little cultural exercise last night. There was a one night only showing of MacHomer playing at Massey Hall. It sounded like a fun evening, how can you go wrong combining Shakespeare and The Simpsons?
Damn, were we ever right.
The show is fantastic. If you ever get a chance you should go. The voices he does are really good, a few were weak but it doesn’t detract from the show. The mannerisms are what makes everything work. Hunched over for Burns, reeling for Barney. Really well done.
So, if you get a chance, and MacHomer comes to a city near you go, for the love of all that is donuty, go.
I heard the add for the new Philips razor on the radio and figured I’d checkout the website. This has to be the funniest advertisment I’ve seen in a long time. shaveeverywhere.com not safe for work.
Video games are a terrible evil that has been silently spreading over the land. Teaching people about gardening is one of the worst offenses I’ve seen from this so called form of “entertainment”.
If you don’t believe me, just watch this documentary. Game Over. I rest my case.
Back from bizarro land, Owen, great job on the video. Just the right amount of humour and mock seriousness to give a lasting impression. It’s made even more amusing if you ask Stacy about her garden sometime.
And yes, she is now taking about planting real plants outside come summer. The horror. The horror. The horror.
