Not sure how I feel about this one. I watched it on the plane on the way to Seattle and I don’t think I would have watched it otherwise. The idea of the film is interesting, you sort of learn little bits of new information as you see each ‘vantage point’. I guess that’s kinda how a movie works, heh.
All in all, if you’re suck on a plane for a few hours and have seen the other movies you might watch this one. Or take a nap. Really, it’s a toss up.
Stacy and I went to see Kung Fu Panda on Friday night. I really liked this movie. The animation was well done, the story was good and there are a lot of high profile voice actors who do a really good job.
If you’ve been hesitant to see a new movie in a while due to general suck-age I’d recommend this one. Especially if you like Jack Black.
Sca-doosh.
Stacy and I went over to see The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian on Saturday, after having a few drinks with Adam and Matt.
I must say, I liked this movie. It was really well done, the Narnians looked good (the centaurs looked a little strange when they run, but then, it is a horse with a humans body, heh.) The bad guy was close to pushing it but I don’t think he went too far. Kept it believable.
I’d recommend this movie to anyone that wants to see a good fantasy flick. Or, just a good flick in general.
So, I was downtown last week with some people and we decided to go see Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. I’ve seen the first one, and I liked the first one, so I figured why not?
Oh god, how wrong could I have been. This movie was pretty bad. There were, I think, two places in which I actually laughed. I believe both had to do with Neil Patrick Harris.
Maybe I’m no longer the target audience for this type of flick but it just didn’t do anything for me.
So, if you want to see a good movie. Don’t see this one. Maybe watch it if it’s on TV. Maybe.
Stacy and I went to see Iron Man over the weekend. I’ve got to say, this movie was excellent. It’s the best movie I’ve seen in quite a while.
If you like action flicks, or comic flicks, or movies in general, go see Iron Man. You won’t be disappointed.
